He’s Available for Autographs!

spokesdog

How about that? My sweet Edward promoting dog treats…NOTHING could be more appropriate!

We’re often asked what kind of dog he is, and I’ve never been able to answer with a straight face because it’s such an unlikely combination: Springer spaniel, Rottweiler, and some kind of shepherd (I’m guessing German shepherd from the way he moves). We got him from the family that owned his mother, and his dad was the shepherd down the street. He is the best boy. Ummmm, except when he goes counter cruising. Won’t tell you about the three-quarters of a freshly-baked pecan pie he scarfed down recently.

Just an extra big dog treat in his view.

Thanks again to everyone who voted for him!

  3. Don't you mean Pawtographs? ;) Congrats to Edward and hope he didn't get a tummyache from the pie. Our Helga was a counter cruiser too. Many times my parents lost hamburgers, venison and ham if it wasn't under a bowl. ;)

    1. Pawtographs, love it! I think he did get a tummy ache, but I doubt he connected that with the pleasure of the pie. Hmmm, I've done that myself a few times. But I have NEVER eaten 3/4 of a pecan pie...at least not in one sitting!

  4. Yes, tell Edward to NOT forget about us when he becomes rich & famous..........he's on his way!! What a cutie! I'm sure he felt that pie was THE BEST he's ever had! ;-) We love our pets the same way - they're like our "kids!" What can we say?...........

    1. You can imagine how disappointed we were not to get a single bit of that pie. And yes, I think he did REALLY enjoy it.
