AHHH...

Did it.

Retired yesterday.

No more pencils,

No more books,

No more teacher’s

Dirty looks…


Oh wait. Wrong rite of passage.

No more meetings

No more bossing.

I’ll have plenty of

Time for flossing!

    My hubby just retired after 40 years and we are young retires (48 & 58) - really loving it! Life is short - so do the things you love with the people you love!!

  2. Congrats! I decided I am now retired also. Early at 61 but hey life is meant to be enjoyed so I am going to do that!

  9. Congrats!!! My husband retired at 50..the first thing he said was "I feel like a person again"..so, he's enjoying himself and I go to work!

  10. Congratulations! I retired early at 55, almost 3 years ago. It was an adjustment but it's been great. I cannot imagine ever going back to a 9-5 job. Enjoy your retirement and your new home!
